Band Of The Year : Sigur Ros

Easily the greatest live show of the year was Sigur Ros at the Beacon Theater in New York City. Following the release of the sublime Takk earlier in the year, the live shows were beautiful, overwhelming, and simply magical. We are looking forward to their shows at Madison Square Garden early next year. Algorithm is currently working on a fan site devoted to the genre of shoegazing music (of which Sigur Ros tentatively falls under), which, whilst still in development, can now be found at www.shoegazing.co.uk.
